Dr. A.A Cheema was born in Pakistan. He obtained his early education from his hometown then graduated as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from one of the premier veterinary University in Pakistan, Riphah International University, Islamabad.
Dr. Amjad has special interest in small animal surgery and emergency care. He started his career as a teaching assistant in Department of small animal surgery, Riphah International University and then worked as Veterinarian in private pet practice, Lahore. In order to further enhance his professional skills and gain exposure to advanced veterinary medicine, in 2020 he moved to United Arab Emirates and joined small animal practice where his main focus was on small animal surgery, soft tissue surgery, Emergency and critical care. In January 2021, Dr. Amjad Joined Vet Plus Center and become part of orthopedic team and Emergency service.
His main fields of interest are soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine and surgery, and orthopedics. He has numerous certificate courses in order to keep in touch with the vast ongoing researches in veterinary medicine. His motto is to never stop learning as knowledge will always help him in his ultimate goal to give best treatment and care to his patients. As the head of the vet team he makes sure that there is an appropriate flow of work and communication between his team and following of protocols.Being a leader means to lead by example and that’s what he strive to do.
